Oopsy Daisy’s long-planned Oopsy Daisy 20th Anniversary Celebration was cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and instead of rescheduling, we’ve decided instead to turn our attention to The Princess Pretty 21st Anniversary Jubilee in its place.
Oopsy Daisy was created by Brian Brooks and Rob Reger during the summer of 1999 while also working together on Emily The Strange.
In the early 2000 the first tee-shirts with Oopsy Daisy glitter transfers began appearing in boutique shops across the US, and she soon made the jump into mall stores (Pac-Sun, Zumiez, Spencer’s, Claires) and a few years later into big-box shops (Sears, Target). At her height in the mid 2000s Oopsy had multiple US licensees covering such categories as clothing, plush, socks, bags and accessories, and had several International licensing partners in Europe, Australia and the Netherlands.
Brian took a break from both Oopsy & Emily The Strange in 2006 to pursue other endeavors, returning again to revitalize the characters, some 13 years later.
In 2018 Brian began designing new Oopsy Daisy designs. For more information visit Brian Charles Brooks.
